Mary "Scooch" Glassman has made a life long career teaching preschool children. She, and her husband Doug, started Affections in 1985 because they believe a child care center should be a very special place for children as, for the majority of families, preschool is a child's first experience away from the familiar surrounding’s of home and loving parents. They wanted their school to be known as the best, so they started from scratch and built the foundation for the premier school Affections has become.

The Glassmans personally interview, train and supervise each staff member and are at the school each and every day overseeing all of the events, and activities. Scooch created the curriculum for all the classrooms and is continually updating it with new and fresh ideas while using her vast knowledge and experience with children to guide and educate the team.

Parents will find the staff of Affections warm, loving and nurturing, with the experience, knowledge and dedication to make your youngster feel safe, secure and comfortable.

Whether your child is an infant, toddler, preschooler, or kindergartner, the level of care and attention to your child’s needs is never less then 100%.
